Dymphie Elisa graduated from the bachelor of Illustration at AKV|St. Joost in Breda. Afterwards she followed the Master of Animation course in Den Bosch and graduated with her short film 'Second Floor' in 2018 which was selected for festivals like GoShort and NFF.
As an artist she is mostly interested in visualising complex feelings, femininity and physicality. In a colourful style, she covers themes of strength and vulnerability, mental health and choosing your own path.
Not only is she an artist and illustrator, but also very active in the cultural climate in her hometown Breda. She is the founder, curator and host of the show & tell OOMPH! (in collaboration with Playgrounds Next) a platform for emerging creators to show their work.
She works from her studio in Electron and in her free time you can catch her dancing in every style possible.
